Karen Marie (aka Karen W. Clark) has been a singer, songwriter and producer in the industry for the past 29 years. Although she didn't begin writing her own music until 1993, she graced many stages and events alongside her father and brother in their gospel group "The Williams Family" the majority of her life. She grew up in the church where she was a Musical Director from her youth. She developed her musical gifts even more with the union in marriage to her husband, Ronald James Clark, Sr. who toured the country and abroad as bass guitarist for the three-time Grammy Award winning Mighty Clouds of Joy for 10 years. Ron became Karen's husband and producer as a bonus. Together, Ron and Karen are known to have a very unique sound that most often moves listeners to tears. Karen has had the honor of sharing album credits with such writers and producers as Rodney Jerkins and Kevin Bond for Monique Walker’s “My Genesis” album. Her contributions to the project, More Of Your Glory and Starting Over Again were chart topping singles. With these and other career accomplishments, it’s no surprise Karen is doing great work in the Kingdom, but her greatest work to date, she hails are their two (now grown) children, Ronald and Kayla. After some time off from solo ventures to raise her family, Karen is back with a new body of work. Her first single "More Love" will be release July 28th, 2023. She writes her cry for "More Love" which was produced and arranged by her husband with a quartet flare. Make no mistake, this song goes all the way back to Karen's roots and can be felt through her passionate vocal presentation. Fans are lining up for Karen's return. Don't miss out on the journey!
